Although we have been working on the project for a period of time, we are just beginning to blog. However, it perhaps will be better as we are ready to reflect what we have learnt about ArcGIS, SLA..... from now onwards.
Okay GIS was hard for me at the beginning..a lot of jargons and complex system. As the learning get unfolded, the experience that I have using ArcGIS, so far, has been good.
Many thanks to my friends and tutors, I find that learning GIS theories aren't that hard. With the use of ArcGis step-by-step tutorials e.g. overlay has benefited a lot to me.
I started to appreciate how the landscapes we have are closely related to being spatially aware and how things such as the locations of MRT stations can be digitalised and transformed into valuable visuals or geospatial data that can help us determine where should the next train station or network to be built to solve public transportation woes.
Before taking up the course "GIS in Real Estate" offered by NUS Real Estate Department, I have no idea what a GIS is.
Fortunately, there were two experienced tutors who have shown their patience in guiding us throughout the entire learning experience. I've gained some basic knowledge about GIS, especially being able to link and apply GIS to real estate cases, which helps to facilitate the analysis process. GIS enables real estate analysis to be implemented in a more efficient manner, as it optimizes the time and resources needed.
Hi, I'm Zhihao, here to start the ball rolling.
